Mealtime vent 👶🏼🥄🌪☄️💥🙈

Meal times are getting harder. She flings everything, smears everything, chews and spits out, and then rubs it all into her eyes at the end and gets upset. Sometimes I find it funny, most times it's getting me down. But either way I try to stay neutral, and not laugh or chastise her. I know she's just learning and playing and that is what food is about at this age. Thankfully she is still nursing like a champ and the lactation nurse said "food is fun" up to age one. But she turns one next month! I keep telling myself each new phase is hard but we either adapt or work through it.
