Successful vba2c?

Question

So I've asked multiple doctors about having a vbac, and 3 of them said they think I would be a good candidate to do it. One doesn't want me to because he's worried about my uterus rupturing. should I still do a vbac or let the one doc talk me out of it? what was your experience with a vbac?

I think before you make a decision you should look onto vbacfacts.com and evidence based birth.com also improvingbirth.org  (and find them on facebook). while there is a possibility if you rupturing the statistics are easily on your side. doctor's would have you believe that every other woman who does a vbac ruptures and that's not true at all. the problem is they don't want to risk it at all because you could sue and win. according to the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology they aren't even supposed to force,coerce, bully you into another csection. they are supposed to tell you there is a risk and give you up to date and accurate rupture info. they don't like to do that because,again, the rupture rates are so slim. you do run a higher risk if rupturing if they have to augment your labor with pitocin. so my personal opinion is if you do try for a vba2c you probably don't want them to induce you (which as long as you or bavy' s life is not in danger) then induction is unneeded. probably un labor
