Brushing teeth is soooo hard!

Does anyone else's LO push their tongue out, pushing the tooth brush out, uses her tongue to hide he teeth, she does that or put her chin to her chest so I can't get the tooth brush near. She eats the tooth paste and seems to enjoy it so it's not that. And I've been doing it once daily since 6 months

I've also Tried letting her hold it and chew it but no improvement
