When did you give your kid popcorn?

My 2 year old is eyeing my popcorn. I'm so afraid to give it to him because I always think it's a choking hazard. When did you give your kid popcorn?

I was worried about this too but my kid has never had an issue with popcorn. He's been eating popcorn at since he was like 8 months old. every kid picks up things differently and at different times, my little sister had an issue with popcorn until she was three and a half.

Popcorn is fine for a 2 year old. But I never have before bed and if it was late I would get the kids to rinse out their mouth and have s good brush - was always worried that something would get stuck and they would choke during the night.

son was one years and three months when he had it the first time, i just took the middle out (kernel) and gave him the fluffy parts.

My sons 2.5 and I gave him some for the first time a few days ago. I just sat with him while he ate it as I too was worried about choking. He was fine 😁

Popcorn is fine for that age! But pretty much anything can be a choking hazard for kids so make sure you're always supervising during meals and snack times so you can act quickly of something happens.
