Does/has anyone gone to therapy for infertility?

What did you get out of it? We are unexplained infertility and I hold a lot of guilt about a decision that we made 6 years ago. I think I need to mentally be in a better place. Stress and worry could be causing my infertility

I see a therapist, and I've been seeing a one since age 13, long before I knew I had fertility issues. More recently, I do think that my struggles with fertility have exacerbated my depression, and although the fertility issues aren't the original reason I sought out therapy, the therapy does seem to help with the difficult feelings that surround my infertility, as well as with my other underlying mental health conditions.

I've never been to therapy but I do go to a monthly support group for infertility and it has been incredibly freeing and I always feel a million times better when I leave. Just talking with people who actually understand what you are going through and don't make stupid comments trying to be helpful is amazing lol
