fetal alcohol syndrome is 100% avoidable.  why change perfect odds ? it's only nine and a half months for s lifetime of certainty.
it can take years for FAS symptoms to manifest. I cannot imagine living in fear through kindergarten. 
but it's your choice. your kid, your consequences. I chose to not take the risk. wine could, and did, wait.

NO. I'm sorry, I don't mean to be rude but is 9 months really that long to wait for a glass of wine?? FAS is 100% avoidable & even a half a glass of wine can cause it. There is NO safe amount of alcohol in pregnancy. Doctors tell you not to do it for a reason.

My mom would have a glass of wine every once in a while while pregnant with me and I wasn't born with any issues 🙂

Would you put it in your newborn baby's bottle? That's a serious question as everything you take in, can and WILL go to your baby. Sometimes I wonder why it's so hard to simply abstain from substances for 7-8 months. Heck, I had migraines and wouldn't take ibuprofen. (Addiction excluded- that's a different situation-that should be under a doctor's care) I'm sure your question was innocent and needing an honest answer. That answer is no. I choose not to drink in pregnancy, but a half glass of wine is NOT going to give your child FAS. I promise.

Idk I chose not to but my dr says a glass of wine every now and then is okay. I feel like she wouldn't say it if she thought for a second it wouldn't be safe for my baby.
