Toddler to OB appointment??

Question

Anyone ever take their toddler to their OB appts? I'm 8 hours from home for this pregnancy and have no one to watch my little dude. He is usually WELL behaved. So, I'm hoping it isn't an issue

I bring my toddler every time. Everyone at the office loves him

There are always mom's with toddlers at my clinic. They have a play area in the waiting room so I assume it happens often.

As long as your OB office doesn't care (don't see why they would) it shouldn't be an issue. The only ones I'd suggest to get a sitter of some sort are any long ones you may not be able to move much for like a Pap smear, the anatomy scan etc.

I take my 3 year to every appointment I prefer to so he gets to be apart of this experience and loves to see his baby sister!

I took my 2 month old to one appt and he did get fussy but a nurse held him

Ive had my toddler with me at just about every appointment. I take him in a stroller so he can't just run around and make sure I bring plenty to keep him occupied incase we're there for a while

My daughter is three and a half. She's been to every appointment, ultrasound, and blood draw.

with my 2nd pregnancy, my 2 yr old always went with. with my 3rd pregnancy i had a 3 and 6 yr old with me everytime. never had issues.

I have my child always cried because he thought we were there for him. Thankfully my ob was always quick in and out within 20 mins

Every one. My daughter can be a lil monster if someone is touching me so i bring in the stroller during the exam 😂 but shes only 15mos. otherwise like others said they are so used to children they have never minded.
