Salpingectomy is back on

Aisha

Weeelll, I finally broke down and scheduled my surgery to have my right tube removed. It's blocked and they won't do any other treatment w/o its removal. I stalled, hoping the left side would ovulate and we'd get preg, but it hasn't happened. Sooo I guess I won't waste anymore eggs...and I can stop the sperm from running into a brick wall of scar tissue and remove the tube. I had a myomectomy in 2004. I wish I knew about how scar tissue and tube blockage is a very common side effect of the myo. Maybe I would have chosen a different treatment.

I've read that chances of getting preg naturally after the salpingectomy are very low. Even though it seems there are lots of people on here who say they did.

I really hope that after all this, if we have to do <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a>, that it works. This is a stressful process and I haven't even gotten to <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a>! Ugh!

Meanwhile, I'm praying...just like everyone else on here who wants a miracle.

Thanks for the space to vent!
