So, my SO's older brother lives out of state and we planned to have him stay with us when our first baby arrives in December. He already has two kids and my SO really wants his big bros help. However, his wife wants him to bring along their youngest (3 year old) when he comes to stay so that she doesn't have to stay alone with both kids.

I LOVE my nephews as if they are my own blood.. but I really don't know how I'll feel after labor..having a 3 year old running around our two bedroom apartment from the moment we get back from the hospital for 3 overnights. My SO and I got into a bit (we never argue!) and he thinks I'm over thinking and took it offensively. Am I wrong to think that I'd want a little more peace and quiet while I'm recovering from giving birth? I'm mostly afraid I'll be exhausted and in pain and don't want to come off grouchy to our nephew and my "bro in law."
