I'm overdue by 2 days and since Monday I've been having strong Braxton hicks. With each contraction I get this terrible stabbing pain in my cervix. At least I think it's in my cervix. It radiates into my lower back as well. It's been so bad at night that I can't sleep until morning. I went to L&D; last night and she said it's probably just round ligament pain or my cervix dilating but it's sooooo intense. I can't breathe or talk through them most of the time and I'm hoping to god my contractions aren't this sharp feeling during real labor. Anyone experience this? I seriously can't find anything online about stabbing pains during contractions
