boy name sound ok? need a middle

Hi guys,
I've had so much trouble thinking of a name for my baby boy.  Right now the only name I love is Ollie, but I don't really want to use Oliver.  Do you think it's ok to just use Ollie on the birth certificate?  I know that it's not a "grown up" or "professional" name, but it's 2017 and I figure that stuff doesn't matter so much anymore! Any ideas for a middle name? Last name Dupre (Pronounced 'do prey')

I like Ollie and don't see anything wrong with using it instead of Oliver. If you are worried at all about it not being a "grown up" name then have the middle name be something more grown up.

Why not? Ollie is a lovely name and if you're going to call him that anyway then I don't see an issue.

You could name him Olin (there are different spellings). I personally would never hire a man named "Ollie" to be my doctor or elect him as my president, but hey, crazier things have happened I guess. Maybe make Ollie his middle name so he can use his first name as an adult?

I think just Ollie would be perfectly fine! I'm a big believer in naming your kid what you plan on calling them.
