NEED ADVICE ASAP 😬

My next appointment is scheduled for September 1st. I will be 40 weeks 3 days. So I might not even make it to this appointment before I have my baby. But the only day they could schedule me for was a Friday (they are understaffed that week) which my husband works and wouldn't be able to come and he doesn't want to miss the ultrasound. So my question is should I wait until the day before the appointment and if I still haven't had her reschedule it for their next available appointment?
