On August 3rd, I had my mirena removed after 5 years of no periods. Since I didn't know where I was in my cycle, I used an OPK and BD while I was ovulating (August 12-13). I was expecting af Sometime during the last week of August (just guessing). Last weekend (August 19th) I started getting smiling faces on an opk, and finally had the solid face on Tuesday. I was so confused why I would be surging twice in one month. I though I must not have released an egg last time. On Wednesday I had brown spotting that turned into red bleeding by the evening. It was enough to need a tampon on Thursday. Today it has stopped, however I still have some mild cramps that come and go. Is there any chance this was implantation bleeding? Or should I just chalk it up to an early/short af?
