When did you really start to bond with your baby?

I am not ashamed to say I didn't bond with my baby at all when she was born, the birth was pretty traumatic and I think it took me a long while to actually comprehend I had a baby that was mine! (Sound stupid I know) I just couldn't bond at all, her cries were like nails down and chalk board and I cried constantly! But now she's 3 months and has her own little personality I can definitely say I've got a full bond with her. I think the first few month are just so hard and most people are ashamed to admit they couldn't cope or didn't have a bond already. But there's definitely nothing to be ashamed of :)
