I'm sick of people looking at LGBT rights and thinking that it's fixed. In Russia gay men are beaten and thrown into jail. This goes for many countries as well. In Australia marriage is still between a man and a woman only. The fact that people will use "in this day and age" when referring to homophobia and transphobia makes them seem uneducated and self centred to me. It only very recently became legal to be gay in India. Majority of the world would bash you for liking the same sex or being a different gender to what you where born as.

I'm sorry if I sound bitchy but oh my god. (Maybe I'm just jealous I'm still being used as a political pawn by my supposedly progressive government)

Anyway long story short LGBT+ rights are a long way from even slightly satisfactory.
