Dolls of different races

So here's a picture of my daughter, Millie, with her latest favorite baby doll, Zoe. I make a point to buy her dolls of different races because I really believe if she grows up loving and caring for dolls of different races it will be harder for her to judge others. Obviously, she'll also learn not to be racist in other ways but this is easier at this young age. Anyway, today my brother - who claims racism is funny and thus pretends to be rasict (where the logic is there befuddles me) - says something about the doll being extremely dark. I responded by saying she is beautiful and Millie picked her out herself and loves her. My mother then said she would have to go out and buy Millie some white dolls because all she has are black dolls. She doesnt. She has 2 black dolls, a Moana doll (Pacific Islander), and 2 Elena of Avalor (Latina) dolls. She has at least 5 dolls that are white (yes, Mama works retail and has trouble not buying cute things and shes probably gonna be spoiled... not the issue here thanks.)... So anyway, am I wrong in this??? Even my sister in law who has a black daughter looked at Zoe weird when she saw her....
