Does my incision look like it's healing okay and also what kind of close is this? Are these the strips or how was I closed ?
I never asked at the hospital from being so drugged

Looks like you got staples. As long as the white strips are dry, you should be fine. Just be careful when you stand up, take your time. If there is pain you can't handle, call your doctor. When you shower, make sure you pat dry. I had the same ones but my cut was made very low. Goodluck!

Okay, those are STERI strips. I had those.
They stitch up the inside layers, then glue the outside for a cleaner and less noticeable scar. This looks exactly like mine. Those strips come off on their own, don't pull them. They'll start falling off and that's okay. Here's mine after a few weeks falling off. These strips are to protect the glue. That's not for stitches or staples.

The white tape!? No that's just tape that they put on you after they stitched you up to hold it in place while it was healing. When you go in for your checkup ask them to remove it (it hurts like a bitch if you try yanking them yourself!) also, I didn't see any red or puffiness so it looks normal but also I couldn't really see the incision from the angle you had it at. Also... don't lift your tummy up like that for a few weeks except to clean it with a rag and soap! You don't want to accidentally pull a stitch! They would have told you if they used staples since you have to have a doctor remove the staples but since you obviously didn't know that that means they used dissolving stitches which is the norm now! Don't worry you'll be fine:) and the purple lines above the scar are stretch marks from them cutting you open(or mine appeared after the c section lol) they will eventually turn white. Mine turned white around 10 months after. And I can barely see my scar now and my little girl is now 11 months almost! I did put peroxide on my scar once a day until around 3 months after. That's only because the tape left residue and I couldn't get it off no matter how hard I scrubbed (which wasn't very hard since I hurt a lot) so I put peroxide on it to try to get it off and it finally came off!

Does are dissolvable strips... as time goes by the adhesive disappears. They aren't staples trust me you would know. I had 2 c sections going on my3rd one in 3 weeks however your cut looks good girl.

Those are steri strips that they put on the skin after suturing you. You most likely have a a running skin suture from
One end of your incision to the other. It's all one piece and you will not be able to see it. Steri's will come off on their own or you can have them take it off at your appointment if they think it is ready.

The white is just tape. I had staples and they done this so I'm just going to say staples and looks like it is healing well. Do you have concerns? Does it hurt? Smell? Leak? Just a tip I wish I was told earlier was after a shower to dry it roll or fold dry washcloth place against incision till everything is dry.

I had staples and before I left the hospital they removed them and put the strips. They fell out on their own . Don't try to peel it off as it will hurt like a b* 😩

lookn pretty good to me they already took the staples out and put tape on ya I just left my tape wear off last time with showering and keeping it clean the adhesive will come off eventually...
