I had the (private) Harmony test 10 days ago at 10+2. Whilst doing the US the doctor told me that the fluid behind the neck was above normal and she was concerned, also that there was an abdominal herniation. Had the blood test, left and spent the next 10 days numb and scared. Today I had the NHS nuchal screening testand another blood test, I'm 11+5, was nervous and worried. The doctor was lovely though and said she thought everything looked good but I had to wait for the blood results. We left the hospital with a glimmer of hope. In the shopping centre I got a phone call from the Harmony clinic... I got a low result 1 in 10,000 and also found out I'm having a little boy. I burst out crying, my partner was freaking out until I told him. WHAT. A. DAY!
