My birth Story
March 2nd, 2015 I was 37 weeks and 4 day pregnant. All morning baby boy was good. But that afternoon his movements decreased and I had some bright red bleeding. Called my Dr and he sent me to L&D to be monitored. Few hours later all checked out good I was dilated to a 2 but contractions weren't doing anything. Well the rest of the week I continued to bleed lightly on anf off and lose my mucus plug. On March 5th, 2015 I woke up not feeling like myself. Hubby and I decided to go grocery shopping. Got home around 11 am and I realized my braxton hicks were coming closer together but I really didn't start timing as they weren't painful. Around 3:15 I went to start a load of laundry when I stood up I felt a small release of fluid. I figured the baby kicked me just right and I needed to use the restroom. My husband was in the bathroom so I went to our room to get our cloths for laundry. When I made it to the room I felt another small release of fluid. At the is point I need to change. As I went to put on a dry pair of panties a gush of fluid came out. I hollared for my husband and we both knew it was time. Got to the hospital still no contractions that I could feel besides a few bh. I got hooked up to antibiotics for GBS and they started the pitocin since my contractions weren't doing anything. 22 hours later on March 6th, 2015 at 1:50pm Rostin Wayne Bomar was born. Took 4 contractions and 3 pushes through each contractions. He weighed 6 lbs 5.5 oz 19 1/2 in long. First picture is when he was born and second picture is now just a few days over being a month
