Who would you save

Lets immagine for a second that you are a firefighter and there has been a horrible car accident between two cars. In one of the cars there is a pregnant woman. In the the other car there is your best friend. There isn't enough time to save both. who do you save?

My training as a nurse would have me save whoever had the best chance at survival.

I expect this will be a very unpopular opinion but I'd rescue my friend. They mean way more to me than a stranger. I couldn't live with myself if I didn't save my friend.

My friend. Sorry. Without even a second thought I'd go for my friend. You don't really have time to be weighing the pros and cons and considering the morality of the situation, so it's not really surprising for people to naturally try to save the person that means more to them.

What if your friend was a pregnant woman? LoL just kidding. I'm not really sure. Maybe it would also depend on who you can get too the quickest and safest. Instinct would tell me to save the pregnant woman. At least I think so. It's kinda hard to know for sure without being in that situation.

I would save the woman, my best friend would hopefully understand that I have to save the two lives. And I don't think any of my friends would forgive me for not saving the other person. They're extremely selfless people.
