sciatica or something else?

I have been experiencing horrific pain on my left thigh. It happens at night while I'm asleep, feels like my thigh is on fire for 5-10 secs and then the fire goes out for another 5 seconds. It's super painful. I'm wondering is this normal in pregnancy? Does Tylenol work for it? 22wks 4days...
I looked it up and it could be sciatica.

It's normal, but dehydration may play a factor. Id drink a few bottles of water and prop your feet up and try to rest and see if that helps

I would add magnesium and/or turmeric capsules to your diet. Taking them shortly before you go to bed. Some glute massage may help and perhaps some stretching for the glute and hip area.

Dr confirmed sciatica is the cause and the baby is hitting a nerve.. for anyone else who has experienced this she suggested warm baths and sleeping on the opposite side.
