Need help

My son was born on the 22nd and I been trying to breastfeed but he was fed formula at the hospital and now he doesn't want to breastfeed he will but gets real fussy...I end up feeding him formula cause I don't want my baby to starve, I'm waiting for my breast pump to arrive. What can I do? I really want to breastfeed my baby.
