Plugged / blocked milk ducts

I have what seem like hundreds of lumps in my right breast since the third trimester of pregnancy. I started having colostrum about a month before due date (my baby is about a week old now). I was told they are clogged ducts. Some lumps are huge (up to 2"). I was told by a lactation consultant to apply heat, massage and nurse frequently but only few lumps went away. The majority of large ones are in the upper part of the breast. There're no pain or redness. Is there anything else I can do?
