Orgasm to induce labor?

A family friend told me that having an orgasm can induce labor. Has this happened to any of you lady's? I'm 38 weeks and so tired of being pregnant. 😩

Orgasms actually could help the process, because it makes the uterus contract. It can't make you dilate or soften your cervix, though.

What Courtney said! It releases the hormone oxytocin which is what is in the medicine called pitocin. Pitocin is given to help strengthen contractions during labor. Make semen helps soften the cervix.
