Can I go ahead and pump?

I'm almost 30 weeks pregnant with my second. Just started lactating the other day and hate that it is all just leaking out. Can I go ahead and pump or does this actually hurt or interfere with the pregnancy?

I would not pump, pumping can lead to contractions and labor

Don't do it ! It will cause early labor. Get some pads... I know it's annoying but if you decide to breastfeed the colostrum (first milk) is very good for the baby !

I don't think it's a good idea. See if you have a lactation consultant you can talk with and maybe he/she can give you some ideas/tips.

It can induce labor---Plus you want the colousm (I knooow that's not spelt right.. I can't even with spelling right now..) for when the baby is born.
