My boyfriend of a year and a half broke up with me yesterday he has his reasons and I respect that the thing is that I need to cry but I can't like I just can't and now he feels worse because I'm showing no signs of being sad even though I can feel my heart breaking any tips in how to cry?

When I'm devastated, I go into shock. My brain just goes into survival mode and refuses to let me fully process what happened and how much it hurts. This is what could be happening to you and it's okay and doesn't mean you aren't sad. It will help to consider how life is different now, to think about the things you won't get to experience together, that another girl will get to have all those moments instead of you. Once it hits you, it's gonna hurt like hell.
