Dilated and no labor?

I just had a midwife appt and was told I'm 1cm dilated. I'm at 37 weeks and was hoping to make it a couple more weeks before delivery. What can I expect?

I've been 3 cm dilated for 2 weeks now :/

I've been 2cm going on 7wks now!! Will be 37wks Monday.

If this is your first baby then you could definitely stay at 1 cm for sometime.  Funny thing about babies - they dot lend themselves very well to planning 😉
