Would you say my son is small for his age?

My son will be a year old September 20th. He is 21lbs. An I am not sure how tall he is. He wears some 6-9 month clothing but pants/shorts he is 9months. Many people are telling me is small for his age. But he is so active I think that's another thing that is keeping the weight down maybe idk..

My girl is 21.5 lbs and 29" and no one has said she was small. She's in the 80th percentile for height and weight. She is starting to grow out of her 12 month clothes but I think 21lbs is great!

My daughter is 11 months and weighs 17.7lbs and is 27 inches and in 12 month clothes.

My daughter weights 19 lbs and will be 1 on sept 20.

I think that is Normal. My baby was born June 29th at 30 weeks. My due date wasn't until Sept 5th. He is 19 pounds and 29 inches.  He's only in the 3rd percentile and small but he was born at 2.5 pounds. I wouldn't worry if your doc isn't worried.

He looks good to me! My daughter will be 1 on the 8th and she weighs 17 pounds 7 ounces and is 27 inches. She wears 6 month onesies and 9 month pants. Not all babies are big!! As long as he's following his own growth curve all should be good!!

My son is 21lbs too but I guess he's taller than yours because he wears 12 or 18 months. People say he's small but that's fine by me, he doesn't walk yet so my arms love that he's smaller lol

Mine will be 1 in 10 days and he's 17.5 lbs. He is a peanut but he is actually very strong and sturdy. :)

No my daughter is 21 pounds and 26.5 inches.. she wears 6/9 month clothes too .. she's a chunker just like your baby.. She will be one on September 9th..
