How much water?

My LO drinks 2-4 oz water per day. I can't remember what my pediatrician said was the max amount per day to give, and google has conflicting info. Anyone remember what their ped said was the max amount per day?

It's been super hot where we live and yesterday he drank 7 oz. today just 5 oz. As long as baby is getting the required amount of breast milk and formula I think it's ok to give what they need, especially in heat

My kiddo loves water. When we started giving it to him at 6 months we wouldn't do more than 2oz a day, but now we just let him go as he needs to. I'd say he gets anywhere from 2-8oz a day

My baby drink about 5-6 oz per day, she moving a lot all day so she always want the water just like her mommy

i offer water, but maybe not enough!  my pedi said if you are thirsty baby is probably thirsty!

Maybe leave a message for the office and see what they say? Ours personally told us not to limit. We went though the numbers and LO is having plenty of formula, 3 solid big meals and snacks in between. He told us to keep offering water with meals and especially if its hot out. Id say she probably drinks 5-6 oz 😄

I personally wouldnt give more than 2 oz you don't want to fill them up on water which doesn't have calories and nutrition like breastmilk:formula
