sea salt soaks go a long way! they usually help me get rid of infections

Do not put coconut oil on it at all.
It looks infected use sea salt mixed with warm water and do this twice a day. Do not touch it unless your cleaning it.

I little bit of redness and crustiness is normal - but yours looks excessive. That can indicate that it's getting infected, rejecting, or that you aren't cleaning it properly and the skin is too dry.
