Big baby?

Had my midwife appt at 33weeks. Baby was on 50th centile at 28 weeks. She now measures 70th centile with estimated weight of 5lb. My question is is this big? I still have 7 weeks and at 1/2lb per week weight gain that's a lot! I'm only 5"1 and petite frame.

My midwife doesn't seem worried it's just me thinking about it. At 28 weeks she was on 50th now at 33 weeks she's at 70th and estimated 5lb ... my first was 6lb7oz but I don't remember being worried ever!

my now 5 year old was a 9 lb baby 3 weeks early and just before 31 weeks this one was estimated to weigh 4 lbs 11 oz and they fully expect him to be around 9 or so when he's born. big babies run in my family as well so I have ultrasounds every two weeks now to check his position (he was breech) my fluids (higher end of normal) and his weight is checked every 4 weeks to make sure he isn't getting too big

I'm 33 weeks also and they said my baby is about 5.5 pounds. We are both tall but we'll see!

Amy did she fit in newborn clothes? I'm now worried 😩 I've packed newborn stuff and few 0-3 bits but I don't have a lot

My son was 6lb 4oz at 33 weeks and in the 98th percentile. Crazy. I went for a 37 week growth scan and he was only up to 7.4and dropped down to the 50th percentile. They scheduled me for an immediate c section for failure to thrive and because he was barely moving anymore. He was born the next day at 7.1lbs. He's now 1 and in the 99th percentile at 33 inches lol. Clearly he was going to be a big baby but something inside me went haywire.

I'm 34 weeks and he's measuring in the 85th percentile. They are guessing around 5pounds and 15 ounces already. And he's been measuring big this whole pregnancy. So I'm doing another ultrasound in 3 weeks and if he hits the 90th percentile then I am going to get induced.

My boy is measuring in the 52nd. I'm a FTM though and have nothing to compare to personally. He was weighing in at an estimated 4.5 at my 32 week check up🤷🏼‍♀️

Mine was 70th percentile and she was 9 lbs 5 oz at birth. In my instance, the measurements were accurate.
