I need advice......sort of

So my boyfriend and I have been together for almost 3 years, a little over a month ago he left for basic training for the Army. Well before he left (like a couple weeks before he left) we had been talking about my birth control and I was reminding him that I needed to go back to my Gyno to get more. So when i said that......he suggested that I really didn't need it anymore because neither of will be having sex for a little over 4 months.....I agreed. He even said if we did get pregnant (on accident) it would be okay because we would both be mentally and finacially ready to do so. But do you think he is suggesting a baby in the near future?
