down syndrome babies 💜

Dayna

okay mommy's, I'm 22 weeks and 5 days & when I was 18 weeks I had the normal quad test done for DS, it was a positive. I was so shocked and upset I guess because I'm only 20 years in and this is my first baby. I got over it knowing that I'm gonna love my baby girl no matter what but they sent me to a high risk doctor where they gave me a new test called MerternTi-21 or something like that, that's suppose to be more accurate and it came back positive too. I had an ultrasound sound done and they seen things that make them think she has it, which is not a big deal to me or the father. What I was wondering is, is it any different having to raise a baby with downs? I just want to be prepared seeing as I wasn't expecting this AT all, please no rude comments just helpful advice and tips please!
