I need to vent so please bare with me

Okay soooo boyfriends mom for the past 2 months everytime we are together around 11 or 12 she tells him that he needs to be home and not get home past 1 otherwise they take the car away soo I told him I was going on a strike from his house, and every time we went out we had to be at our own house at 11 till further notice. ( when he talks it out with her) and that he needed to be more with them because they barely see him so fast forward he goes and tells me that he is sick of his parents how he doesn't want to live there no more and just wants to leave even if it means losing his car. And I told him that he was lucky to have parents that are lucky enough to have given him a brand new car and all the stuff they have gotten him, that he should be grateful that his mom saved up money over the years for up to 5 years of university ( which is a lot more than regular college) because no ones parents that I know got the opportunity to save up for university yet alone college. I told him how I saw my ex best friend work hard as shit to get a scholarship because her mom had to pay her daughters medical bills to pay, and how another friends mom didn't say money for his college because they had bills to pay and how we all relay on financial aid for college, heck I even thru in how I wished my mom had saved money for my brother and I to go to college but she didn't every money she ever got went straight into gambling she never thought about our future. And he looked so hurt after that but It had to be said
