Walking away in fight vs. Anxiety

Does any one else had a hard time letting their S.O walk away during conflict? When my husband and I fight..he wants to walk away and go to another room. I get anxiety and follow him and it makes the fight bigger. Tips on letting him walk away while controlling my anxiety about it? Thanks!
