Baby sitter or Daycare

Hi. Im a working mom of one beautiful toddler (2 1/2 she'll be 3 in February) well Im 17weeks and 1 day pregnant with a little boy who is due February 8th. My husband work 2nd shift so he doesnt leave till about 12 but my shift is split in half (school bus driver) so I work early and have to go back in the afternoon. Once my maternity leave is over I want to know that my kids will be safe in the environment they are in. So should I send them to daycare or just hire someone to come over and take care of them just for my afternoon half of my shift?
