Do you normally pump about the same out of each? This happened to me a few times and I ended up with a clogged duct. This was the first sign that it was happening. Also, are you pumping in a Urology office? :)

I can only ever get around an ounce from my left breast which is babies favourite but can easily get 4-5 ounces in a five min pump session from my right boob. Also pumping on my left boob makes my nipple extremely sore like baby has had a bad latch and makes feeding uncomfortable for around a day. I just pump from the right breast and feed from the left whenever I have to pump, the other times I start baby feeding on right breast when he's most hungry to encourage him to eat from it 😅 who knew how difficult bf could be 😂

I was having a similar problem, just not as drastic. My left would give 0.5-0.75 oz and right would pump 2.5-3 oz. I found a milk blister and started treating it and attempted to open it up as well. I still have the blister but it's not fully blocking the duct now as far as I can tell. I also started tea for breastfeeding and I pump the slacker more often. Basically when my LO feeds on slacker side I pump both after, even if it's not producing anything. After a few days in now getting 2 oz from slacker and 3 oz from other side.

Oddly, my left breast is much better when it comes to pumping, but my baby prefers my right breast. 🤔
