Pads vs. band aids

I surprisingly just got my period which is always a relief for both me and my boyfriend, and I asked him to go get me some always infinity pads, and sent him a pic of what they look like. So he runs to CVS while I'm at home bleeding. He comes back about 20 minutes later and is very frustrated. I ask him what's wrong and where's the stuff. HE HANDS ME A BOX OF X-LARGE BAND AIDS and says "I couldn't find the always infinity bandaids so I got u this." (WHAT??) so many things to say about this and I really don't know what to do. How did he never learn this stuff?! Do I teach the man or do I just break up with him because of his lack of knowledge?!
