Sharp stabbing pains in groin?

39w4d FTM.. I keep getting these JOLTS of pain in my crotch. I had to lean forward in the shower with my hands on the wall just to try and stop them and the mild irritation in my lower back. I've had some mild feeling period cramps too (and have them as I type). Hips feel like they are dislodging. As of my appointment this past Monday, my cervix was high and closed but soft and baby hadn't dropped yet. In the past few days my belly seems to have dropped and today I even thought I felt him move down (but I could be nuts). Ive been doing some hip openers with wavering side to side to try to get him to move down plus walking up and down the stairs quite a bit. Are these lightning crotch pains/light period cramp feelings a sign of labour to come? Due Monday so it would be GREAT if it meant yes lol
