Anyone have experience with their stitches tearing/separating after an episiotomy? I am 6weeks PP and had my stitches tear around 3 weeks, leaving me with about a 2" open area. My Dr has me healing naturally saying that the tissue looks healthy and will heal on its own. I am still is some pain and definite discomfort, but don't know if restitching the area will be better, or worse. The dr said that is essentially like starting over. Anyone have experience with this? It is taking all the joy out of being a Mom and really getting to me, both mentally AND physically.
