Question for new moms - when did you first leave your baby overnight? I have a friend's wedding in October (son will be 4 months) and my mom offered to keep him overnight. The wedding is about an hour away so we planned on staying in a hotel. I was thrilled at the thought of an evening out with my husband (and cocktails without feeling guilty!) followed by a night of uninterrupted sleep - but now I am having second thoughts. I totally trust my mom and I'm sure they'll be fine but I am nervous to leave my son for a whole night. I am curious when other moms left their babies for their first overnight.
