We used to talk but i thought people were going to look at him up & down so I stopped talking to him & recently he texted me asking why I stopped talking to him.. I feel bad but I just don't want him to look like a bad guy because he really isnt.

it kind of is a big age difference just because it's likely you are at different places in life. at 21 most guys try out partying and at 17 you're probably still in high school. but as long as it's legal wherever you live give it a try

My sons dad is 10 years older than me. I was 16 when I met him. I mean if he respects you and treats you like a lady I'd say go for it. Just check and see if in your state it is legal at 16 to be with an adult

It's safer to wait until you're 18 however if you choose not to, slip the idea of you dating a 20 year old to your parents in conversation and see what they say . Things could end badly for him if they don't approve. Good luck

Well I'm turning 17 in three months and the guy I'm talking to is 19. we've been talking to each other for almost a year. Idk how long you guys have been talking and if your friends and family approve of that. Ask the people who are closest to and ask them what they think of him
