Never felt this before...
Being my 6th pregnancy I thought I had felt almost every pain possible but something strange happened the other day. I was laying on my left side and curled up maybe an inch closer to my tummy from my chest up, not moving my belly, to get my arm lower to readjust the pillow between my legs when it felt like my entire stomach was being ripped open. I couldn't move. It felt like fire from left to right, top to bottom, and lasted a minute. I called my OBs office and a doctor who isn't my usual one was on call and said as long as I don't bleed and don't start having contractions and baby keeps moving in fine and to wait until Tuesday when I see my regular OB with the NST appt (mind you, this is the same doctor who said that if I'm contracting they'll induce me and wouldn't listen when I said it's my 6th c-section and I can't be induced for many reasons). Well, nothing changed but the pressure in my pelvic area has been overpowering the pain I usually have there and I can never tell if the pain I'm feeling is real contractions or false ones. Both hurt me equally and my real contractions are never regular and consistent until they're less than a minute apart at full strength. My question is has anyone else felt this and if so did you ever find out what it was? I just moved my upper body down about an inch and then extended my hand when it happened. I know what round ligament pain is and this was certainly not that. Im 32 weeks exactly if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance 🙂
