I had a little bit of brown spotting for a few days and was told that's normal. Yesterday I went pee and when I wiped there was a brighter/light red blood on the tissue, and more than spotting. I called the dr and they said it was normal but to call back if I was having continual abdominal pain, back pain, or passing and tissue. The blood is a little heavier, a little bit darker (could just appear that way because it's heavier), and I have cramps but nothing worse than a period cramp and it also goes away for awhile, so it's not continual. Im wearing a pad to monitor and it's not soaking it by any means but I do get about a quarter half dollar sized area after a whole day of wearing it. It's less than my normal period amount. I'm also passing blood clots. I was told by a registered nurse that this could also be normal because some women have a period and don't realize that they're pregnant. I'm just getting concerned because this is my first baby and I don't want to lose it. My dr is supposed to call me Tuesday to set up our first ultrasound and tell me the results of my blood test that they took when confirming the pregnancy. Does anyone else feel I should be concerned and go to the ER? I'm not in any pain really except the occasional period like cramp. I was also told that honestly if I am having a mc there isn't really much I can do at this point and an ER visit might not be helpful except to ease my mind. The only thing that's keeping me hopeful is that I'm not having cramps at all right now and I havent had any back pain at all
