I am due may 2018 and have just had a meeting with my manager about my rights and pay. When I go I will get full pay for 8 weeks, half pay for 18 weeks and then go on statutory pay £400 a month I was told for 13 weeks, I'm now worried about how my husband and I can afford to do this, I wanted to take a year out to raise the baby now I'm thinking id have to return to work after a few months just so I can afford to live comfortably. What are you planning to do and what is your maternity pay?
