first appointment is. week from tomorrow I'm so nervous.  MOMMAS what all do they do...... I'm freaking out

Blood work, urine sample, ultrasound to confirm, talk to you about prenatal vitamins.. ask questions if you have any.. that's really about it. Lol.

During my first appointment, they weighed me, asked for a urine sample, checked my blood pressure, performed lab work, did an ultrasound (which they couldn't see much because I was only 6 weeks), talked with me about prenatal vitamins, and talked briefly about genetic testing (this discussion was more in-depth during my 8-week appointment). I believe this was about all that took place. This appointment was pretty long, at least for me, I can't speak for anyone else.

Depends on your obgyn but for me they did a urine test to confirm, ordered blood work, set a date for an ultrasound and gave me a lot of important information. I was really nervous to but just take a deep breath they are gonna do everything they can to take care of you and your new little addition good luck ❤️

I was sent to a lab for blood work my Dr didn't do it in office. I got an ultrasound. got my due date. asked questions. talked about genetic testing. I was 12 wks at my 1st appt.

At my first appt, a nurse took my weight and blood pressure and then gave me a huge packet of info which she went over with me briefly. Then the doc did a quick vaginal ultrasound to measure baby's size and heart rate. Baby was was super cute and active during that ultrasound and I saw her juggling her little arms and legs! Afterwards the doc answered all of our questions and talked to us about genetic testing options and recommendations. It was a nice appointment packed with tons of info. Good luck on yours!

At my first appointment they did an ultrasound, I talked with my doctor for a minute, and then they drew blood to test for a million different things lol. It's really not bad. Don't stress!!!
