I'm wanting to apply for a free breast pump through my insurance but can't seem to figure out how to apply/get the process started. Has anyone had success with this? Does it depend on insurance or is it pretty much universal?

Call your insurance company to first find out if it is covered. Unfortunately, my plan did not cover a pump. If they do, they will tell you what you need to do to get one.

My insurance company was very strict and it had to come from one of 2 medical supply facilities with a prescription. They told me what I needed to do and it was pretty easy. Most insurances will not pay for it from a retail store. FYI.

All I did was call my insurance and they helped with everything. It was super easy and I received it really fast

I'm in the middle of it myself. My doctor said they will send a prescription to Target, but they don't have the one I want so I'm using Aeroflow. Google it. It's super easy, just apply on the website, they confirm insurance etc. you just provide your information.
