So I'm on my period, I got it yesterday. Today I noticed a nasty smell, almost like dog pee soaked musty laundry (I know, specific). We have a dog so I was sniffing all my dirty clothes when I finally realized it followed me everywhere, and when I went to the bathroom I realized the smell was me. In the shower I rinsed my hooha off (not out because I don't want to mess with me pH) and it still stinks. It scent stained my hands too, kind of like onions do. It's all I can smell and I'm worried that my bf can smell it too. Any suggestions? Nothing else to suggest that it's an infection or anything, haven't had sex in about a month either. Any help is appreciated!
