Coffee shops handing free coffees in protest.

Ok this is more of a light hearted debate. In Ireland specifically Dublin City centre there are many coffee shops. Some are chains and others are independently owned. Starbucks is looking to open another branch in the city and the local owners aren’t happy about it. So they decided to hand out free coffees in form of protest it seems.

For anyone who isn’t aware Dublin City is a very busy and full of tourism. That’s how the money comes to the city.

Do you think local owners have a right to be upset?

Should they just deal with it, there’s always competition because that’s how business works?
