flu and TDAP vaccine
ok so, we are really high risk and being super careful about the things I put in my body while pregnant.... I know, I know, everyone is gonna say its totally safe and blah blah blah BUT they also said that with the Rhogam shot in my first pregnancy and within 24 hours of having it we started having issues that led to the stillbirth of my daughter.... for me, some vaccines and medications trigger things that can cause major issues with blood clotting. so my doctor would feel safer with waiting until AFTER I have the baby to give me the Flu or TDAP vaccine.....I meant to ask him but totally forgot... I'm curious if the baby would still be able to benefit from that through exclusively breast feeding? my doctor said getting it while pregnant was more for me than for the baby anyways, they may benefit some but not as much as you may think. so I'm wondering if they would get any protection at all through breast milk? if not, at what age can they have those vaccines themselves???
